The Verification Process

For c:sense, a key element is to ensure that we understand our client's business. This enables us to carry out the verification process in a way that is both efficient and hassle-free for our clients.

Key Stages

Site visit to define your needs and process.

At this meeting, we will ask you to complete a questionnaire. This will enable us to appoint the best team for your specific needs and send a competitive quotation. Any information you divulge will be treated as confidential and be subject to a mutually binding confidentiality agreement.
Strategic Review (Sept to Dec each year)

Operator supplies evidence pack to verifier, comprising monitoring and reporting plan, permit, site plan, metering details and calibration certificates, energy records and emissions summary to date.
Compliance audit

Verifier visits site to conduct compliance audit on M&R Plan and permit and resolve any issues.

Final verification (Jan to Mar)
Operator supplies verifier with final energy data, and emissions report which are then verified. All outstanding issues are resolved.
Verifier submits Verification Opinion Statement to operator, who sends it with their emissions report to the Regulator.
Registry compliance (by 31 Mar each year)

Operator proposes annual emissions total onto the Registry and verifier confirms total.
